Introduction & Purpose:

I a graphic artist with 10 years of experience and a Bachelors degree in art specializing in graphic design. I have worked in both a MAC only design firm and a PC only design department. I like each equally but for different reasons. Ultimately, each experience has proven a powerful asset to my career. That in turn has always allowed me to follow my only real objective--a position that challenges me on a daily basis and furthers my growth as a graphic artist.

School and Experience:

When I started college, I wanted to be an illustrator. It was not until I decided to pursue a Bachelor's Degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville that I discovered the digital arts. I was hooked. In the summer of 2001, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Art specializing in graphic design.

As a graphic artist I have worked for several kinds of companies ranging from non-profit, e-commerce, industrial and government. My first position as a professional graphic artist was for the non-profit organization called CAIT. After almost 3 years there, I began a new job with MonsterCommerce (later purchased by Network Solutions). I then breifly worked as a website editor for Maritz Inc. From there I took a position as a graphic artist subcontracting for Boeing through SSE. I am currently an associate with the consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton where I work as a graphic artist.
